One day hiking in Galihica National Park
Galichica is a mountain situated in the Southwest part of the country across the border between Macedonia and Albania. The National park by the same name, Galichica, is on the Macedonian side of the mountain, situated between the two biggest lakes in the country: Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. With the beautiful views across the lakes and neighboring mountains, and city of Ohrid can be seen from the peaks of the mountain.

Above the coast
This is an easy and scenic hiking tour, suitable for anyone with average physical condition and no prior hiking experience. The trail takes you through traditional mountain villages overlooking Lake Ohrid. We begin in the village of Velestovo at 1,070 meters and ascend gently to Elen Peak (1,200 m), a beautiful viewpoint with panoramic views over Ohrid city and the lake. From there, we descend to Elshani village (890 m), walking approximately 10 kilometers through forested paths and old stone villages, including Konjsko, known for its rustic architecture and lakeside vistas.
The hike takes about 3 hours in total, with an elevation loss of around 310 meters. After the hike, there is an opportunity to swim in the lake or transfer back to Ohrid for further exploration.

Two Lakes peak- Panorama
This short but stunning hike offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in Macedonia. Magaro peak
Climb the highest peak of the National Park, Galichica Magaro Peak, 2255m. The start of this moderate hike is at 1600m, with a 4-5 hour round-trip hike and a 700 m altitude difference. Explore the biodiversity of the mountain close to the border line with Albania, and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and lakes in Albania and Greece.
