Overview

A hiking vacation is the perfect way to truly experience a new corner of the world. Sometimes the greatest beauty can only be appreciated at a slow pace—on two feet, surrounded by stories, landscapes, and local traditions.

On this 8-day small-group adventure, you’ll explore North Macedonia’s most beautiful mountains, valleys, and cultural gems. The journey combines rewarding day hikes with cultural encounters, visits to UNESCO heritage sites, wine tastings, and authentic meals in traditional villages. From the bustling capital of Skopje to the serene shores of Lake Ohrid and the wild beauty of three national parks—Pelister, Galichica, and Mavrovo—you’ll discover both the natural wonders and the warm hospitality that make Macedonia unique.

No technical experience is required, just a moderate fitness level to enjoy 4–5 hours of walking per day. After each hike, relax with delicious food, local wine, and the comfort of welcoming accommodation.
